Snow White

Charlie and I took Charlotte to her first show last Friday. We went to see Snow White at Beef and Boards. Of course she had to wear her Snow White dress! It was a one hour play and we got a snack and juice box as well. We didn't know just how well she would do considering there was a "scary witch" in the show. She did great, was very attentive, and informed everyone in a very loud whisper that the witch was "just pretend". She even got her picture taken at the end with Snow White, the prince, the witch and the mirror. She still says her favorite character was the witch.

Dad's Day at Preschool

Charlotte got to take Charlie to preschool for Dad's Day and show him "how preschool goes". She was very proud, but she did get busted... Charlie saw how good she was at cleaning up!

Look who is getting big!

No, not mommy's belly... Emma Kate has given up the highchair for more sophiticated seating arrangements.

Halloween 2008

Charlotte and Emma Kate's personalities sure did shine through on Halloween! We had a shy Snow White and a crazy ladybug! Charlotte didn't even want to go Trick or Treating after she saw 1 scary costume. After she went with Charlie, she did much better. Emma Kate, on the other hand, didn't even want a hand to hold. She marched up to every door, took a whole handful of candy, signed thank-you, blew a kiss and off to the next house. She even stopped to look at every scary thing in the yards. Emma Kate was fascinated by 3 cats that were wearing costumes. She dropped her candy bucket and ran into the house after the cats. The nice gentleman kindly retrieved her from their kitchen! She then proceeded to grab one of the cats by the face and kiss it right on the lips! What will we do with her! She is hilarious. What different personalities they have... I wonder what Cooper will be like?
