Random pics without a post

Diva sisters!
Decades Day at school. We went for 80's but she wouldn't wear the leg warmers or the flashdance shirt...still super cute!

Pajama day for spirit week (gotta love shirtless Cooper in the background!)

Cooper and his BFF AJ Chisler

My favorite pic of the summer. Emma Kate "taking a shower" but it ended up look like a pictorial for playboy!

Life According to the Greer Kids

Is this why people tell me I have my hands full?
I say "A lot of work but a lot of fun" or "My hands are full but so is my heart".
We are trying to raise kind, empathetic kids who love their childhood...

Best Friends!

Charlie and I took the kids to his best friend Carl's house over Halloween weekend. Carl had a great box suite for the Purdue/Illinois football game. The game was terrible but we got the spend the weekend with good friends.

Charlie grew up with Carl and became good friends in college with Chris. Carl and Angela have a daughter Alyssa and Chris and Wendy have a daughter Sam.

3 best friends + all with 1st born daughters = super cute!

Sam and Charlotte

Sam, Alyssa and Charlotte

We were together the whole weekend but these are the only pics I took!
I'm not sure why Cooper and Emma Kate didn't make it into the pictures. They were probably playing ski ball!

Halloween 2010

Now that the girls are getting older, the have developed a fine appreciation for Halloween. I think Charlotte enjoys the dress up and Emma Kate enjoys the candy. Here are the highlights:

Zoo Boo

A little rainy, but we stuck it out in the parking lot until the downpour ceased. We were coming in just a most people were leaving so it was pretty clear and Cooper was able to get out of the stroller for a little bit at least.

Belle, a monkey and Strawberry Shortcake (she promptly removed the hat after the pic)

Cutie Coop on the carousel that went backwards for Halloween!

Emma Kate with Kitty Cat face paint.

Charlotte with Kitty Cat face paint.

Charlotte's photography skills (only 1/2 of Emma Kate but a clear pic)

Emma Kate's photography skills (we are centered but not clear)

Visiting the new cheetah exhibit.

By the stinky birds...Charlotte was appalled at their stinkiness!

The monkey's favorite part...the playground.

**Note to self...always put shoes in feety costumes. Because the ground was wet, Cooper's feet were SO wrinkley when I got him the the car. He really didn't care though b/c at least he got out of the stroller!

Trick or Treating

We took the kids out on Halloween night with my friend from work, Chasity and her family.
Charlotte as Belle
Gavin as a cowboy
Emma Kate as Minnie Mouse
Cooper as a monkey who hated his hood
Gabby as a disgruntled Snow White (she was mad that Charlotte got to hold her baby brother)

Stuckey Farm

Emma Kate took her 1st field trip to Stuckey Farm and I got to go and learn with her (same field trip Charlotte took the last 2 yrs at preschool but I got to see it through Emma Kate's eyes this time!).

1st bus ride! "No car seats, no seat belts" Of course Emma Kate would love it!

Her version of apple juice.

Taking a hay ride.

Learning about bees.

Learning about corn.

Claran North Pumpkin Patch Festival

Every fall and spring, my employer, Clarian North Medical Center, puts on a FREE festival for the community. And by free, I mean FREE. Free activities and free food! We were lucky enough that it was still VERY warm when we went. The highlights included: pony rides, a bounce house, free pumpkins for each kiddo, tattoos and face paint, ambulances, fire trucks, police cars and the lifeline ambulance and helicopter. The kids had an educational and fun afternoon!

Pony Rides!
Coop petting the blood hound.
Super duper cool spray on tattoos!

Pumpkin Patch

Our goal every fall is to visit the pumpkin patch...on a weekday! No long lines and no losing kids!

Conner Prairie

We went to Conner Prairie for a Fall Festival...the kids loved it!

We rode horses,
ate snowcones,
played dress up,

and took some cute pics!

Cooper Updates

I'm cute...
I'm crazy...
I had a battle with the bottle.

I'm becoming a very big boy!

Cooper is so cuddley and I treat him like a baby but tries so hard to be like his big sisters. We suspected earlier but discovered at about 1yr that Cooper had a milk protein (dairy) allergy. He was tested in the summer for dairy and suspected peanut allergy and suprise...he does. I had to teach the girls to use the Epi-Pen if for some reason they had to use it on him. Charlotte of course, was deathly afraid and Emma Kate thought it was kinda cool! Therefore, he could only have soy milk and then came the battle of the bottle. He takes a sippy cup completely fine for any other liquid but the milk can only be warm from a bottle. The peds says no but I still fall for his big eyes and say yes!
In the last couple of days he has also been interested in potty training! YIKES!!
