Hand-me-downs!

How lucky we are to have Katie and Julia's hand-me-downs! Here is Julia, then Emma Kate in my favorite outfit of the moment.

Where is Emma Kate???

Emma Kate is quite a fast crawler and sneaky I must add! Charlotte and I were looking for her (she couldn't have gotten up the stairs...could she?) when Charlotte finally found her!!

Princess Hair

I had to resort to mom's blue pj pants in order to get my long princess hair. I evened tried brushing my own hair to make it long (like Dora does) but nothing seems to work!

Big Girls!

Wow, times flies! In a few weeks Charlotte will be 2 1/2!! I cannot believe it. After seing Ella today, it seems like just yesterday that Charlotte was that small (okay, so she was never that small - she was born 1 1/2 lbs bigger). It is even more amazing that Emma Kate is a crawling champ, very loud and quite the "Swiper" as Charlotte calls her. She even crawled to Charlotte's plate and put her face down and took a bit of her cinnamon roll! She is Swiper the Fox! Charlotte is blossoming into quite the little girl with a huge vocabulary and a sweet but stubborn personality. Notice the clip bow in Charlotte's hair? She now has enough weight to hold a clip over and really will not wear a headband.

Uncle Jed's 24th birthday

Last weekend we went to Lafayette to celebrate Uncle Jed's birthday. We went to Lonestar - Charlotte's favorite b/c of the peanuts and getting to look at all the animal heads on the wall. Charlotte thinks Jed is hilarious!!!

Baby Ella Bella Cinderella

Emily, my best friend from college, or Porter as we all know her, had her 1st baby on Jan 15th! Ella Grace was born at 5:04pm weighing in at 7lbs 7 oz and was 20 inches long. My time was 23 minutes and 1 oz off with the length being exact! Charlotte and Emma Kate met "Ella Bella Cinderella" for the first time today. Charlotte has officially given her the nickname although it is much longer than just her name! Charlotte sat so still and rubbed her head for 10 minutes all by herself. Trying to get a picture of all 3 girls was quite funny. This is the best we could do!

Charlotte the stunter

Charlie has been "stunting" with Charlotte since she was about 6 months old. She started with a simple chair sit at 6months, progressed to the extension while dad was laying down and is now quite the elite stunter. Check out the pictures of her fully extended awesome! Charlie is on his knees b/c if he stood up, Charlotte would have hit the ceiling. Charlotte can start cheer at 3years on the tiny team... Will we be able to get her hair into a half pony by then?

Our first flight with both girls!

On Dec 26th, mom and I took the girls to Florida to see the Kanes and Browands. It was my first flight with both girls. Mom was a HUGE help. We were very thankful for Memaw! Check Meredith and Caroline's blogs for pictures of all the fun we had! Charlotte had a wonderful time playing with Julia and Katie!

The Many Christmases of Charlotte and Emma Kate

Charlotte and Emma Kate are very lucky little girls! They got to celebrate Christmas 3 different times! I had to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas night in order to be able to go to Florida for a week on the 26th. We did our little family Christmas on Christmas morning. Charlotte just wanted to open 2 toys and play with them. We had to remind her to keep opening! Charlie took the girls to his mom's on Christmas day while I slept and went to work. We celebrated Christmas with Charlie's dad, Cindy, Jeff and Sara just last weekend b/c they went to Vegas for Christmas. Emma Kate mostly like the paper and boxes but is VERY into her mirrored "stage" that she can sit at and play while looking at it light up - Thank you Uncle Jeff (Greer). The girls and I then went to Florida with my mom to visit the Kanes and the Browands. That was the best Christmas present of all.

GUILTY... I am the lazy blogger!

True, I do have to update from Christmas on. This includes Christmas, New Year's and our trip to Florida. SO... for all of you who check most days, you might want to check back on Saturday. I have a sick kid and work tonight, tomorrow and Friday night. You can get an update from our trip from Meredith or Caroline until then!!
