Emma Kate's Hair Evolution

You can barely mention Emma Kate without adding "Poor" before her name...
Poor Emma Kate - bless her heart and her terrible hair do's! All children must endure the baby mullet, the comb over and the Dumb and Dumber bangs. I, however, have a hard time of just their hair grow and get it cut whenever it gets crazy. Hence why Charlotte is just now being able to let her hair grow long...it has never been below her chin because it was always uneven and short is so easy!

No hair!
That's okay - add a huge bow!
The baby mullet
Donald Trump or Gene Keady
A crazy pony tail
A whack job thanks to Charlotte
Finally growing back

A whack job thanks to mom and not paying attention when the lady was cutting!

Dumb and Dumber!

Emma Kate had to get a bang trim today because her hair was totally in her eyes. A little short but it will grow!

Dumb and dumber

Much better with a bow!

Oops! Cooper is 3 months old!

Three in the bath and the middle one said...

Get me outta here!

Super Duper Adorable Baby Boiler

Check out Coop in his cute Purdue gear! He has gotten SO smiley lately. He is laid back and calm... very chill. I deserve a break from my drama queen and my crazy lady! I can picture Cooper in 20 years drinking a beer on his porch on campus on game day!

Protecting her pacis

Emma Kate is making sure her most prized possessions are kept safe!

And the video...

Maybe we perpetuate the problem

Emma Kate loves the baby car seat and Charlie loves to play

and she didn't like it when the game stopped.

Preschool Sings

Charlotte had a "singing show" last Sunday. They have music class at her wonderful preschool at Christ United Methodist Church in Westfield. They had their spring concert of all of the songs that had learned throughout the year. It was SO cute... basically you could kind of understand the words and there were about 50 3 yrs olds waving to their parents a majority of the time. In September, I would have never guessed that shy little Charlotte would go on stage for a "singing show" so willingly. We are so proud of her!

Oh my goodness Emma Kate!

Emma Kate never seems to suprise us with her latest antics. She definitely keeps us on our toes! On this particular day, I was feeding Cooper upstairs. The girls go up and down freely and the doors get shut to the rooms we don't want them in. Emma Kate knows the perfect time to be naughty, ie. when mommy can't get to you quickly. I heard a chair moving across the wood floor and then the microwave...

She opened 3 bananas, 4 peppermint patties, a tube of lifesavers...

and a can of sprinkles. She was microwaving the sprinkles. She likes jewelry and I'm thankful the bracelet didn't end up in the microwave!

Not a fan of peppermint patties nor lifesavers. She does like the TUMS although she was having trouble with the bottle.

Even though she didn't like the lifesavers, she was trying to fish one out of the stove!

After she saw me taking pictures, she said, "Hi momma" and got down and ran away. She subsequently had to help me clean up.

This wasn't the incident where she had to get a 2nd set of stitches either!

Trip to Seattle

Two weeks ago, Cooper and I went to Seattle to visit Meredith, Jeff, John and new baby Pete (although he was already 4 weeks old). We had a great time... watching tv, eating out a couple of times, getting our hair cut and laughing a lot! Cooper did great on the plane trip both ways. I was just thankful that I only had to take 1 kid through security! Its hard to believe how much bigger and older Cooper seemed than Pete even though they are only 7 weeks apart. It is amazing how much they change even day to day when they are small.
