Handy Emma Kate

On Christmas Day, Charlie and I decided to change our loft/computer room into a playroom. The toys of 3 kids had taken over the house and we were ready for a change. Emma Kate was so excited to help Charlie hang the curtains in the playroom. We love our quirky, always helpful Emma Kate!

Bye Bye Poppies!

Anyone who knows Emma Kate well, knows that she LOVED her poppies (pacifiers)! She would have at least 3 with her, 1 to suck, 2 to rub on her face. She hoarded them and our life started to revolve around her poppie (a newborn one none the less!)

We collected her poppies (about 12) and took her to Target to "buy" a new doll with them. The check-out girl was great and played along wonderfully! Emma Kate has done great without them, only asking for it once when she fell down the stairs, landed on her face and got a bloody nose. She occasionally will find one and tell me to take it to work for one of the babies.

**Note: Emma Kate picked out her fanciest outfit (in the eyes of a 2 yr old) for her Target trip!

Trip to FL, Disney Half Marathon

We had a great time watching ALL 10 cousins play together, visit Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom and Caroline, Meredith and I ran the Disney 1/2 Marathon...great times!
