Pumpkin Patch

Charlie and I took the kids to pumpkin patch on Monday, a beautiful day. We definitely thought we missed out on this fall adventure because the weather had turned cold earlier than expected. However, we have had great weather the last 5 days. The pumpkin patch was EMPTY and the kids could run around and not risk getting lost.

A little wild, a lot kooky, full of love for life...that's why we love this one-of-a-kind gal! I was wondering when she started making all of her crazy faces and this is what I came up with...

Emma Kate took it upon herself to finish feeding Cooper lunch. In her own words...

"Mommy only gave you goldfish for lunch?"

"You ran out of applesauce?"

"I'll get you more!"

Emma Kate is such a funny little girl but isn't very patient! I got all of my pumping supplies ready for work and left them on the counter. I found her a short time later like this yelling "Come on milk, come on milk". I need to let her know when she is a mommy that the milk doesn't come out faster if you yell at it although I have told Cooper to hurry up from time to time! Charlotte and Emma Kate quite frequently feed their dolls their own "mommy's milk".

A Tale of Two Sisters

Quiet in our house is not a good omen. While feeding Cooper and putting him to nap, I found Charlotte and Emma Kate preparing for Halloween. They thought it would be fun to be "evil cats"! I always thought Charlotte might win an Oscar for best actress but now she might have a future as a makeup artist to the stars!
