Charlotte and Emma Kate were flower girls in a wedding over Labor Day weekend in my friend Christi's wedding. Christi and I cheered together her freshman and my senior year at Purdue. We all travelled to Chicago on Friday and came home Sunday and had a great mini-vacation! In true Charlotte fashion, she loved every part of being a flower girl. She literally lept down the aisle while throwing her flowers in the air. It was too cute. In true Emma Kate fashion, she didn't want to practice at the rehearsal and did not want to wear her flowery crown. She even ripped the bow off of the front of her dress. She put her game face on and made it down the aisle perfectly... I even snuck a bow on her head at the last minute!
We were lucky enough to have CHarlie's sister come with us and watch the kids so we could attend the reception kid free! We did turn in a little earlier than our friends but 12:30 is a late night for us!
