Charlotte and Emma Kate started swim lessons as one of their activities but also to help me with one of my greatest fears. I have always feared my car going in the water and not being able to save the kids (morbid I know but my big sis Caroline has a fear of being framed for a crime she didn't commit) However, with 3 in car seats and the oldest would be too traumatized to even help, we had to start swim not only for summer enjoyment but also for safety precautions.
Though skiddish at first, the girls are enjoying swim and aren't as fearful of the water. Emma Kate was very proud the first time that she didn't cry and both girls had even put their entire head under water.
The only bad part about swimming...the 17 month old to entertain. It is like trying to wrestle an octupus! At least he is super duper cute!
